Accessibility & Equality

AJ & Friends C.I.C. is committed to equality, inclusion, and accessibility for all children, young people, families, and staff. We welcome everyone regardless of age, disability, race, religion, gender, or any other characteristic.

Our commitment to disabled children and families

We take active steps to ensure that disabled children and young people are never treated less favourably than others. This includes:

  • Designing our services and activities to be accessible from the outset
  • Making reasonable adjustments to how we deliver support to meet individual needs
  • Ensuring our Hoylake base is accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility needs
  • Providing information in accessible formats on request

If you need information in a different format (such as large print or Easy Read), please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Equality & diversity

We are committed to the Public Sector Equality Duty and to promoting equality of opportunity across all nine protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010. We do not discriminate, and we actively challenge any behaviour that falls short of this standard.

Our Equality & Diversity Policy is available on our Policies & Documents page.

Website accessibility

We aim to make this website as accessible as possible. If you experience any difficulty accessing information on this site, please contact us at hello@ajandfriends.co.uk and we will provide the information you need by another means.
